BE CAREFUL! I was away when someone knocked my bike over, and I accepted that I was responsible for the damage. There were two broken mirrors and some scratches, but the bike still ran fine and the marks seemed like a cheap, simple repair. They demanded 12000 baht. I was ready to pay 6000, which already felt too high. The woman insisted the whole plastic part had to be replaced, even though it didn’t affect how the bike worked, and other reviews mention bikes arriving scratched. It gave me the impression that damage isn’t being fixed. They kept telling me I’d agreed to the terms and that it was my fault, even though I wasn’t refusing responsibility. My friend was also charged 1500 baht for a tiny scratch on the front that looked like it could be fixed with a little paint. I wish I’d read the reviews first.

We rented a motorbike here and had no problems. The staff were helpful, and we could take photos of the bike before using it. When we brought it back, there were no scratches and everything was fine. I’m not sure why so many reviews call them scammers. If you don’t damage the bike, there won’t be extra charges.

The staff were friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend renting here because both scooters we got were in rough shape. The first was old and sounded wrong, then we had to bring it back soon after because of a flat tire. The replacement was also old, with a misaligned handlebar, and got another flat the next morning. We only got a newer scooter after that, and it worked fine. It felt like they hand out the worst ones first and upgrade you only if you complain.

The room at Sairee center Guesthouse was clean, the AC worked well, and the price for our six-night stay was very reasonable. Service was good too. The receptionist found us a taxi to the ferry for less than the other vendors were charging. I left my headphones in the room after checkout and texted the hotel. The kind woman mailed them the next day, saving me a lot of money. Thank you! It was a little noisy at night, as you might expect in that location, but with the windows shut I slept well, so it wasn’t a big issue.

DO NOT RENT A MOTORBIKE HERE!!! We rented two bikes and found a tiny scratch on one. They had taken lots of photos beforehand, then wanted around 3000 Baht for the mark, which felt like an absurdly high charge for such a small scratch. The manager got aggressive and wouldn’t listen. They also insist on keeping your passport as the deposit. If you want to keep your money, don’t go into this shop.
