The area worked well: close enough to the main strip, but far enough away for some peace, and about a 5-10 minute walk to 7-11. The staff were lovely, though the room itself was very basic, and ants kept getting in, including in our bed. For what you get, it felt pretty expensive. They warn that damage or stains can be charged for, but our towels and sheets were already stained when we arrived, and the sheets had tears, so I doubt they enforce that very strictly.

A cute, simple hotel with sweet staff and a good price. I think some of the negative reviews may miss the hotel's style.

The location was the best part, near everything but quiet enough at night. The restaurant looked inviting and had a cool feel, though we didn't spend much time there. I think the place has potential if they pay attention to a few details. The staff were nice and the room was decent, but there was always something off. Our first room had no hot water and a bathroom door that slammed, which was rough in the middle of the night or early morning when someone was sleeping. After reading reviews, we asked to move. The next room had working hot water and a door in great shape, but the mattress was very hard and the sheets had holes. We didn't raise those issues after the switch because we appreciated them moving us and didn't want to be more difficult.

The location was good and the price acceptable, but the room had several problems. The walls were so thin that we could hear people walking and talking, and music from the next room came through loudly while I was trying to sleep. The toilet smelled musty. The hot water took a while to come through after turning it on, which was frustrating. Mixed-up information also made me late for check-in. I had booked three rooms and had the booking details, but staff first said there were only two, without explaining why. In the end, I got all three, but had to wait while one was cleaned.
