We liked it so much that we added a few nights to our stay. The place is conveniently located, with plenty of parking for rentals, and just a short walk or drive from the seafront, shops and restaurants. The little walkable road cutting into the walking street by the beach was especially handy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had clean towels and fresh water every day, and the AC, hot water and fridge all worked perfectly throughout.

My boat got in late, and they refused to let me stay because check-in isn’t allowed after 7pm. I was left outside with nowhere to go and mosquitoes biting me. The place is also in the middle of nowhere, on a busy road with no sidewalks. Walking there felt dangerous, like my life was at risk.

Brit abroad here. The staff are super lovely and helpful, and the place does the job during busy high season. It is a bit expensive for what it is, though, and they only take cash, so be aware.

Tommy’s place covered the basics well. It was clean and organized, and the bed was comfortable. Just know there’s no AC, only a fan, which wasn’t enough on hot evenings. Opening the windows wide didn’t get rid of the heat. I also had trouble sleeping because of scooters on the street at night and surprisingly loud morning lizard sounds, yes, varans. Good value if you can handle the heat and noise, but I’d go for AC next time 😄

I won’t stay again. The furnishings were very dated, there was barely any water from the shower, and without air conditioning I had to leave the windows open. I could hear animals at night and workers starting their work at 7 a.m. It’s frankly well below European standards. They also never fixed my room during the four days I was there.
