The room was decent for a single night, and the photos from other guests match what you get. It was clean, with nice sheets, air conditioning and a fridge. Big C and 7/11 are close, and the airport is just a few minutes away by Bolt. Getting to the room was a struggle: it was on the top floor, the receptionist spoke very little English, and hauling our suitcases up was awful. The furnishings and bed were old, as expected, and the TV only had a handful of channels. Worst of all, the road noise came straight through the windows. I heard every passing car.

For an airport stop, the location worked well, about 15 minutes away. Lotus and Big C are a 10-minute walk, and 7/11 is five minutes away. The bathroom was spacious, and it was a good stay overall. The mattresses were quite hard. Staff didn't speak English and didn't make much effort to communicate, so I had to use Google Translate. There was no computer for registration or option to pay by card, only cash, which seems unusual for a hotel. The kettle and free coffee and tea sachets were downstairs at reception, so we had to go down whenever we wanted water.

Booking.com advertised a free airport shuttle, but when we arrived they said there wasn't one and demanded 200 baht for a five-minute ride. We had to take it so we wouldn't miss our flight. False advertising, and a complete scam. We don't usually leave negative reviews, but can't recommend this place.

The place itself was fine, but the airport shuttle was advertised as free. At checkout they charged us 200 baht for the five-minute trip and wouldn't help or admit there'd been a mistake. That's an outrageous fare too, considering our two-hour ride from Koh Lanta, including the ferry, had cost 300 per person.

KM house was great. Our twin room was very clean, the AC worked really well, and we liked having four different locks on the inside of the door. We also really appreciated the early morning airport shuttle. Thanks, KM house!
