Snoozz Hotel - Hostel

For what this hotel costs, I didn’t feel it was worth the price. The staff, especially at reception, were unfriendly and basic courtesies were missing. Nobody even said hello, goodbye, or thank you. Thai hospitality is usually wonderful, but that wasn’t my experience here.

We’re still waiting for the refund, and this has felt like a total scam involving the hotel and MakeMyTrip. We’d booked and paid in advance for two beds, but at check-in the receptionist said only one was available. The counter didn’t open until 10 am, so we waited there for two hours. We had to cancel, and were told the receptionist couldn’t help, so we should either cancel or contact an agent. Please respond and return the money.

The location is incredibly convenient, with a song tuew to Ao Nang right outside and Krabi walking street and Vogue mall just a 30-second walk away. The staff were friendly, too. But the bathroom was hot, smelly, and not very clean, with no ventilation, so during the day I used the mall bathroom instead. There also seemed to be just one housekeeper for the whole place. With no hooks in the room or bathroom, hanging towels or anything after a shower was difficult. I’d have given this five stars if it had been cleaner.

There are some lovely cafes nearby, and Amazon cafe is attached to the hotel. The place itself is pretty nice, but the bathroom had a horrible smell that kept getting worse through the night. Music from the night market was incredibly loud for most of the night, though weirdly good. It didn’t bother me since I had headphones.
