The air conditioning was the only good thing about the room. The shower tray had ants all over it, there was a worm floating there, and one guest’s review had the best bot-generated reviews. The bed was a plank with a 2-centimeter mattress. That part barely mattered, since the floor or beach would have been more comfortable. The bathroom got so hot that five minutes of running would leave you sweating like after a marathon or triathlon. If you’re staying longer, you’d be better off sleeping on the beach and washing with soap in the sea than sleeping on planks and bathing in a sauna. Honestly, it was a disaster for me.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. There’s a kitchen nearby where breakfast costs only 30 baht, and the rooms are decent for a very affordable price. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Thailand so far.

The owner is a very generous and kind person who takes care of everything. The hostel felt like home, and I’ve never experienced service like this at any hostel. I can’t really put it into words. I’ll come back and stay again.
