Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort

The family room was a hit with the kids, especially the bunk beds and the tent inside. Food was superb across the Thai, Indian, and Italian options. Kathy at the lounge took incredible care of us, and Nanur at the kids centre kept my niece happily colouring for hours. Yu and Boom played table tennis and pool with us in the recreation areas. Moddang made check-in smooth, Apple handled checkout just as easily, and housekeeping did a lovely evening turn-down. It was an incredible family vacation. We’ll be back VERY SOON! ❤️

The pool area was clean and spacious, and the gym had good equipment. Our room was large, clean, and serviced well. A coffee machine would have made it even better. Wi-Fi worked fine, though it doesn’t like VPNs. After four days and three nights, we left very impressed. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help, as you’d expect in Thailand. Special mention to the Maya restaurant breakfast team, who were excellent. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely return.

The resort arranged a Hong Island Trip for us through the hotel concierge, and we were well looked after. The team also upgraded our room and took care of special requests for the kids. Kate, Pepsi, and Troy hosted us wonderfully in Club Millesime, and all the hotel staff were very helpful. Sorry I can’t remember the other names from the Club and hotel. My family had a good stay, and the kids loved the grounds, play area, and pool. Since the resort gets many guests from India, it could consider adding more Indian breakfast food, especially Dosa. I was told the equipment to make DOSA isn’t there. Kids’ activities are on the expensive side.

The huge pool was often almost ours alone while we were there, with plenty of comfortable loungers around it. The Andaman Sea is across the road, where there’s a lovely beach with magnificent views over the bay and islands. Long tail boats can pick you up on that shore. We took a four-hour Hong Islands tour, only twenty minutes away, leaving at 7.00 am to avoid the later crowds and heat. We highly recommend going early. We spent a wonderfully relaxing five days at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. It’s away from Ao Nang’s busy tourist centre, but only a 15-minute taxi ride from the action. The hotel is beautifully appointed and impressively maintained. Our room, No 229, was upgraded to a Junior Suite using ACCOR points. It had a comfortable bed, a spacious living area, and a well-equipped bathroom. The friendly cleaning staff refreshed it beautifully twice a day. The ambassadors made the stay memorable. Alex drove us, while Bella and Christopher welcomed us and explained what was available. In the lounge, butlers Deena, Pepsi, and Katy looked after and entertained us throughout the stay, making us feel at home. Troy, Luke, Nabi, Top, Tue, Peemai, Jeab, Naf, Som, and Lita were also friendly and generous with their time, along with the wonderful housekeeping staff, including Kolis, and the pool team. We only learned some of their names, but they were consistently helpful. We enjoyed White Lotus for Thai and Indian food, Venezia for Italian, and Maya Restaurant for breakfast, which had a large selection. Lita, Som, Jeab, Peemai, Naf, and Tue looked after us at all three restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this beautiful part of Thailand and the hotel.
