The Clover Lampang

For 600 THB, there were some real problems with the room. The TV wouldn't start, the outlet was broken and loose in the wall, and the air conditioner kept me up with its noise. The water pump was loud enough that you could hear whenever someone used water, and the doors banged loudly when opened or shut. The bathroom ceiling had lots of cobwebs, and the walls had marks that looked like flood damage. The blankets were yellowed and off-white. There wasn't a hairdryer or a room mirror, so I had to use the bathroom one. There was no kettle in the room either, though one was at reception and unplugged. Parking was on the street beside the wall. On the better side, the pillows were comfortable, the shower pressure was strong, and the downstairs front desk staff were friendly and polite.

The room was clean, but the air conditioning didn't work properly, and for this price it wasn't worth it. The AC and TV need a more thorough check. The rate is about what I'd expect at a four-star hotel, but the service doesn't match.

You can walk to both Lotus and Central from this affordable place. The rooms were clean.

The place is new and clean, but it still feels like a dorm, and the price is high for that. Parking fits 2-3 cars. The bathroom is basic dorm standard, with some things working and others not. It stays wet because there's no separate wet and dry section, even though there seems to be room for one. The water pump made noise all night, with more noise from upstairs and outside, plus the refrigerator in the room. The bed was hard, while the pillows were soft.
