The owner is kind and friendly, and the room seemed to have everything needed. Still, at 1,800 baht a night, it felt a bit expensive. The hotel also feels dated. I noticed dark marks on the white walls and ceiling that looked like insect stains, greasy-looking marks on the curtains, and bathroom fixtures and accessories that seemed worn.

The rooms are very spacious and the service is pleasant. It seems to be a family-run place. I think you can get a massage downstairs by reception at a good price. It’s cheaper than other hotels nearby, perhaps because it’s a bit out of the way. If you’re driving, that shouldn’t be a problem since the city isn’t big.

The room was alright, but the bathroom felt old. The showerhead and trash can were rusty, and the sheets had such a strong, sharp fabric softener smell that it stung my nose.

It was comfortable staying here, with a spacious room, comfortable bed, and good air conditioning. The room is two stories and comes with two sets of coffee and snacks; hot water is boiled outside, which is handy for anyone still concerned about COVID-19. There’s a separate bathroom, plus a TV, fridge, air conditioning, and full furnishings. I booked through Thai Tour for 590 baht per night, excellent value. It’s a short walk down a side street, and parking is convenient.
