The owners are retired teachers and happy to share local stories, which made this feel like a safe choice for me as a solo traveler. It's a friendly, family-run place with a homestay feel. Groups can use the barbecue setup and cook for themselves, too. There are dogs around, a lovely extra if you like dogs, though people who don't may prefer somewhere else.

We could stroll to the market and enjoy the views along the way. There, the teacher told us about durian, including Long-Lin and other varieties. Back at this family-home-style Thai guesthouse, the teacher and his wife looked after everyone so well. They serve tasty local food with such warm hospitality that we ate until we could hardly manage another bite. There are rooms for couples and for groups. Thank you so much! 💝💝💝📌📌📌

In the Nong community, known for making pickled cabbage sold across Uttaradit and nearby provinces, this guesthouse sits at the neighborhood's central three-way junction. From the alley beside Lablae Police Station, it's about 400 meters toward Nong, and it's easy to find. The morning market is close by too. Teacher Ching and Teacher Sai are very kind, and you can pick from different room sizes, dorms, air-conditioned rooms, or fan rooms. They make crispy egg snacks for guests at no extra charge, and there are several kinds of bicycles for rent. It's a friendly, comfortable community. Give it a stay, you'll love it!
