I was happy staying here for three nights. It’s a lovely old-style Thai city hotel, and I chose one of the original rooms for 500 rather than a refurbished one at 600. The original was more than adequate, with a good bed, bedding and towels, plus a fine bathroom with a shower cubicle. There’s a flat-screen TV with lots of international channels. Breakfast was good, with local food as well as fried eggs, toast, jam, coffee and tea. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and let me keep my bike inside 🚴. The hotel is a bit out of town, but there’s a good restaurant next door, and cheap places and a 7 11 are a 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The pool was excellent, though there was no furniture. A sun bed would have been good.

The pool is peaceful and easy to get to, and breakfast was fantastic. Chef Unn’s on-site cafe is outstanding, with several small shops and restaurants within walking distance. The place has a 70’s style and elegance, with clean, basic rooms, decent showers, very cold air conditioning, and a small balcony set up with a utility sink.
Breakfast was free, and there was no deposit to pay. I got a nice king-bed room for 600 thb. It’s basic, with two bottles of drinking water. Mosquitoes were free too, unfortunately. Once the sun sets, the dogs outside turn aggressive.
It’s a cheap hotel, so don’t expect much. It’s been renovated, but it still feels old.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, and I have no complaints. I’ll stay again.
