10/10
The restaurant food was excellent, with generous portions, and staff were attentive whenever an issue came up. The hotel is near the market and shops. Room sizes vary, but each is big enough to be comfortable and well maintained. Bathrooms are small if you’re over 6 feet, though still usable. The staff are curious and helpful. All in all, a good stay.

Renovations were underway during my visit, and the updated rooms looked nice. It’s a simple hotel with small rooms, but they have the basics, including a small fridge and kettle.

The AC worked great and the place was clean, but there wasn’t anything special about it. The room was large but bland, and the shower was terrible, with barely any water coming out. MDR definitely isn’t a 5 star hotel.

Clean and simply decorated, with a fair price at around 500 baht per night.

The staff are very nice and helpful, and the WiFi reaches all the rooms. Clean, good rooms and great value.
