Fuang Fah Camping

The landscape here is amazing, so beautiful and natural. I loved the place, and the owners were kind and funny. When I arrived, my tent was ready and they upgraded me to a bigger one with blankets and everything, so it was very comfy. I got in late and hadn’t eaten. Laurent offered to call his wife Leang (sorry for the spelling :p), who was on her way back to the camping, so she could pick up food for me. Later we spent the night with their son and other guests, having fun with music and some beers. One of the best hostel or camping stays I’ve had, and an amazing experience overall.

The family runs this place with so much care and will do everything they can to help you have an amazing time. It’s literally inside a national park, and the sunsets in Chiang Mai are among the most beautiful you can have. I’d definitely come back. It was the most special part of my Thailand trip, for sure.

I booked one night and ended up staying three. Lang and Laurent are lovely owners and wonderful hosts. They took me along to village celebrations and even dressed me in traditional Thai clothes. We shared relaxing conversations over dinner and breakfast. The tent was cozy and clean. A lovely experience, I’d recommend it to everyone.

The tents stayed warm and cozy even though we picked rainy days to visit. The owners are amazing cooks and made us wonderful breakfasts and dinners. They’re such nice, friendly people that we spent the nights drinking and playing card games. So thankful we found a place like this. Hope to be back soon!
