The ground floor smelled strongly of urine, and the rooms and view were only just okay. The overall stay wasn't worth the price, especially with such terrible service. When we got back from the beach, there was no water in our room and the staff were shockingly rude. They claim they don't understand English, but it seems like an excuse when they don't want to help. They even refused us breakfast because we were one minute late. Thailand is known for warmth and hospitality, but this place was the opposite. There are better, cheaper options nearby. Don't be taken in by the pictures or promises, this place is a trap.

The location was very convenient: we could walk to the pier, and there was a health center nearby in case we felt unwell. I booked two rooms for two days, mainly as a place to leave luggage and rest after exploring. The downstairs room had no view and was a little dark even with the lights on, but it wasn't bad and the water heater worked well. Motorcycles in the parking area could be heard now and then, depending on the other guests, though they weren't too loud. For the second night I moved upstairs to a sea-view room, and the coastline was clear from there.

The room was clean and the air-conditioning worked very well. The TV was okay if you like shopping channels, but don't expect English-language films. The mattress was very hard, though I slept well. This is a basic place for a holiday resort price, so you get what you pay for. Neighbors came back drunk and had a bit of a party, and the walls are thin. The shower room needs maintenance: when water ran through it, leaks came from the sink tap and toilet, and more water came out the sides of the shower head than the rose. Breakfast disappointed me, so I skipped it on the second day. Try booking direct instead of using a third-party app. I believe motor bike hire is free that way, but I had to pay 300 baht.

The room was okay for the price, but staying several days didn't include cleaning or fresh towels. They also wouldn't provide beach towels, even if you were willing to pay extra. Breakfast was a typical Thai-American spread of toast and sausage from the 7-11, with no orange juice. (See photo.) We booked a standard room without a sea view for 890 ฿ (22,50€) a night through Agoda. Based on earlier reviews and the property photos, we thought a motorcycle came with the room. Instead, I had to pay another 300 Bath a day for a rattled motorcycle, 900 Bath for three days with no discount. Maybe we could stay again, but on weekdays there are better accommodations at this price on the island.
