Bella Lunar Villa

They brought the tastiest breakfast right to the room. The view was gorgeous, and I’ve never slept on softer sheets.

Morning mist came right up to our room, with green forest and lovely open skies all around. Bella Lunar Villa, Doi Mae Salong has just two villas, each with its own design and a beautiful view. We enjoyed the jacuzzi on the balcony, a BBQ out there, a comfy bed, and a big screen for watching our favorite series. The bathroom is spacious, too. It was 6,000 baht and a little change, including the room, BBQ set, wine, mini-bar, and breakfast, which felt like great value. It’s a nice place to slow down and enjoy the cool year-end weather. Cafe Cha 888 and the Doi Mae Salong morning market are nearby, an easy drive for a change of scenery. Come experience the nature and mist around Doi Mae Salong, Chiang Rai.

The mist was so thick in the morning that everything turned into a wide stretch of white. Sitting in the warm balcony jacuzzi and watching it was a real highlight. We were in Bella2, the newer of the two villas, which had plenty of space, a comfortable bed, sofa, TV, fridge, and hot water. We had breakfast brought to the room, with dim sum, congee, tea, coffee, and steamed buns. The night before, we ordered a Thai BBQ set and red wine to the room and enjoyed dinner in that lovely atmosphere. The place is private and has a full range of services, with great weather and those misty views. The owner also has a large Thai organic tea export factory, and you can try authentic tea at 888 Tea Cafe in front of the resort. Bella Lunar Villa, Doi Mae Salong has just two villas.

The bathroom was spotless and lovely. The accommodation itself is beautiful too, with a Japanese style.
