Boondee House

I stayed one night on my Mae Hong Son loop trip and booked a standard double through Booking.com. The room was spacious and clean, and the price very affordable. My motorcycle could be parked right beside it, with plenty of parking overall. It’s on a quiet street, so sleeping was easy, and the market, 7eleven, and DIY laundry are within walking distance. The only issue was that the bathroom drain clogged after a shower. The owner was friendly and helpful, though I didn’t get his name. He told me about places to visit and mentioned a local cultural event happening during my stay. I’d have missed it otherwise.

There’s a shared area to hang out, plus parking for both cars and motorbikes. The place is spacious and tucked into a quiet corner, away from traffic. You can walk to several places to eat and to the morning and night markets. The soap they provided seemed expired and broke into pieces before I could use it. Recommended.

The location was perfect, close to the morning and night markets and the hilltop temple. We booked an air-conditioning room for three and got the VIP room. It was clean and spacious, with a big bathroom. The owner was very kind and gave us quick directions to all the places of interest.

Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were decent with pretty much everything you might need. The place is quiet and within walking distance. It’s great value for money, with an open seating area that’s useful for working and good WiFi, too. 10/10 recommended!
