The garden makes breakfast feel especially pleasant, and the rooms are spotless. The manager and everyone on her team were genuinely kind and helpful. It may cost a little more than other places in town, but the personal service and free scooter ride to the airport made it feel worthwhile.

The grounds were so well kept that, when I checked in and found the place empty, I pretty much had them to myself. It’s a lovely, comfortable hotel on the edge of town, and the staff are really friendly. My room and bathroom were tidy, with clean sheets and towels, and they made me an American breakfast to order. There’s no lunch service, but small local cafes are right across the road, and restaurants nearby serve dinner. The town centre is about a 15-minute walk away. There are plenty of places with different cuisines along the route, plus an old-looking pub at the crossroads. Great value, and I’d happily stay again. I usually look around before booking, but I wouldn’t need to here. I just wish I could share more than ten photos.
