Baan Suphanbhum - Teddu Inn Maekampong

A lovely place to have drinks and dessert in a calm, natural setting. Teddu Cafe is a hidden gem when you’re visiting Mae Kampong. It’s well maintained, the staff are friendly, and there are three sweet cats around too.

The rope bridge and waterfall are what make this café feel special. It’s a lovely place to relax among nature, have some delicious cake, and meet the very friendly cats. Highly recommended if you’re going to Mae Kampong Village! 🙌

We arrived at 8:30am on Wednesday and were among the first customers. Getting down to the cafe takes a bit of a walk, and parking is limited. The sky bridge costs 100b per person, unless everyone in your group buys something at the cafe, then it’s free. They have coffee, tea, other drinks, and homemade cakes. We got the recommended honey lemon cheesecake with a piece of honeycomb on top. The texture was a bit crumbly for me, since I like cheesecake creamier. Buying something does let you sit by a small waterfall, though. I was told it gets busy quickly on long weekends. We also saw 2 fluffy cats. The suspension bridge is a nice feature, bouncy, though nothing compared with Costa Rica.

I didn’t stay in the guest house, but it’s connected to the cafe, with rope bridges linking it to the cafe and the main road. The cafe is cool in both senses, right by the waterfall. I tried the lemon honey cheesecake, and it was really tasty with fresh honey comb on top.
