Stopped in by chance for tea and coffee. The coffee shop has Lanna-style decor, and the view is nice.

The owners are really nice, and this is my favorite place to sit back and relax. The food is very good too. Eating beside the pond with all the fish around is especially relaxing.

There are koi in the pond and a man-made waterfall, so you hear the water running all the time. The gardens and ornamental trees make the setting lovely and restful. Susena Resort is easy to reach, right along the main Mae On-Huay Kaew road, not far from the Huay Kaew entrance or the road down from Mae Kampong village. Rooms are roomy, the TV gets Thai channels clearly, and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very polite. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to avoid Mae Kampong's high room rates.
