Bantunglom Resort gave me a much better impression of the Chiang Mai countryside than I expected. Our bungalow was very spacious, with beautiful traditional Thai design and charm. The bathroom was huge and had a great bathtub, and the AC worked perfectly. With nature all around, it felt like a peaceful break from city life. My favorite part was the free bike, which let me explore nearby rice fields and greenery. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

The owner and staff were kind and cheerful, and the food was tasty, though the menu was limited to a few basic Thai dishes. The restaurant closes at 7pm and opens at 8am. The resort is beautifully designed, immaculate and Thai themed, overlooking large rice fields. There’s a very nice bathtub and a Smart TV. The main downside is how far it is from Chiang Mai. The 1.5kms road into the resort is two-way but so narrow it can only fit one car, so ... . Otherwise, highly recommend!

The family-run place is intimate and welcoming, with traditional Thai-style rooms and wooden interiors that give you plenty of room to stretch out and relax. It sits among rice fields, away from the hustle and bustle, on the edge of Mae Rim. You can reach amenities easily by car or scooter, and they hire bicycles too. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with fruit, lots of teas, breads and cakes, plus four cooked choices including fried eggs, omelet and bacon. The restaurant serves gorgeous, reasonably priced Thai food until 7pm. There are dogs on site, so be sure you’re comfortable around dogs.

Absolutely fantastic. The hosts were extremely friendly, the breakfast was amazing, and the cozy bungalows had temple vibes. The dogs were lovely too. I’d definitely come again. Bring earplugs for the toads and frogs.

We spent 5 days here and loved having a break from the city noise. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, always smiling. The rooms were big, beautifully decorated and really clean. Breakfast was delicious, and so was the restaurant food. We’ll come back ❤️
