Country Retreat

We stayed as a family of three and loved waking up to the beautiful views. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, and there’s a lovely little restaurant plus a cozy bar in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the wonderful owners. It’s a really peaceful place, ideal for relaxing, reading, doing yoga, or getting a massage. A great escape from noisy cities and a stressful lifestyle. We highly recommend it.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and a swim in the pool with that gorgeous scenery left us feeling refreshed. The whole place felt genuinely homey and beautiful, like it had been made with love and dedication. Thanks to the lovely owners and team for such warm hospitality. We’ll be back. Thank you so much.

Pete and Ying made the stay feel special. Their hospitality was so warm, and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Ying’s fresh, authentic cooking at the Garden Fork Café was a highlight, absolutely delicious. The peaceful countryside is stunning, with rice fields and mountain views all around, and it’s such a good place to unwind. For a relaxing, scenic getaway with lovely hosts and great food, Country Retreat is a must. We can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant was great, with fresh food cooked to order at reasonable prices. The pool and bar area was clean and peaceful, a nice place to spend time with others. WiFi was really fast and worked throughout the property. All the rooms were clean, beautiful, well equipped, and had stunning views. Country Retreat sits among the rice fields just north of Chiang Mai, a lovely place to switch off and relax. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. You can see how much heart Pete and his wife have put into the place, and it clearly brings back many repeat guests. I only wish we’d stayed longer. I’d give it 10 stars if I could, and it’s a must stop for anyone passing through. Thanks for such an amazing stay.
