For an affordable price, you get a 50m^2 house, and the garden is amazing.

It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves during the off-season. The grounds were beautiful, and the host was lovely. Each cabin has a private deck where you can sit and relax. It’s peaceful, surrounded by the sounds of nature, almost like camping but with more comfort. I can’t wait to return.

We loved the restaurant for dinner. The food took a while, but it was delicious and worth waiting for. The pool is in an unbelievable setting, and photos really don’t capture it. The gardens are beautifully kept, and the location feels wonderfully close to nature even though Chiang mai is only 20 minutes away. I’d recommend staying here as a separate part of a Chiang mai trip, or choosing it over the city if you prefer being surrounded by nature. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel. It was old, dirty, and nothing like the photos. There were bugs on the bed, dirt in the bathroom, mold in the refrigerator, and someone else’s hair. The lights were extremely dim, and getting around meant walking uphill for ages. They didn’t tell us what was wrong with the place. I asked to change rooms, and they agreed, saying they’d upgraded me to the best one. What I found was unbelievable: lizards crawling on the floor and ceiling, and a millipede on the floor. Termites had eaten the wood in the closet. The lighting was still so dim, and there was more besides. It was a disaster, not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it to old people or kids.
