Pongyang Jungle Coaster Zipline Camp&Resort

It's quite a trip from central Chiang Mai, so if you're a foreign tourist I'd suggest getting a package that includes transport. Along the way there are lots of nice cafes and simple stalls where you can dip your feet in the river while having a drink or meal. We skipped those because the included transport went straight between the city hotel and the attraction. We booked package B through klook for the 9am slot. We arrived around 10am and left at noon, getting back to our city hotel around 1pm or a bit later. Two hours was enough for all the activities in the package. On arrival, the driver takes you to the registration counter to give your name and date of birth. There's a THB100 locker deposit, refunded later. Follow the instructions and move from activity to activity. They're fairly mild and suitable for everyone. The package includes lunch or coffee, and we picked lunch. We finished the activities around 11.15 to 11.20am, leaving 30 to 45 minutes to eat at the restaurant behind the counter. The menu is individual Thai set meals, choose one. Drinks aren't included. Water is free, and other drinks cost extra. One note about the ride back and forth: the same driver covers the route several times a day and knows the road well, so he drives quite fast. The van can be uncomfortable in the last row, so my advice is to avoid sitting there.

The natural stream and a small, beautiful waterfall added a peaceful, refreshing break to our day. We also liked the ground-level coffee shop, a calm spot to take in the scenery after the activities. Parking was spacious, with plenty of spots, and the 30 baht fee seemed reasonable. There are several restaurants with tasty food at fair prices, so staying all day is convenient. Toilets were clean, modern, and easy to reach. The facilities overall are well maintained. Staff were attentive and professional, with safety clearly in mind, which helped us feel comfortable. The coasters were exciting but felt safe, and the ziplines offered lovely views over trees and streams. We visited Pong Yang Jungle Coaster & Zipline in Mon Jam, in the lush mountains near Chiang Mai. There are multiple coaster and zipline courses, each showing a different angle of the forest. With adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty together, it seems suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends. It was a five-star experience from beginning to end, with great value and memorable moments. Highly recommended for visitors to northern Thailand.

I went twice in Janurary of 2026, and getting tickets at the front took just a minute each time. The coaster has plenty of fun twists and turns, then drops you off where you started. All the attractions are close together, so you can do them without a long walk. There were snacks, restrooms, and plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had a blast on the Pong Yang Coaster! It’s an exciting ride, but you also get lovely views of the green mountains as you go. The area felt clean, safe, and well organized. A fun way to mix nature with a bit of adrenaline while visiting Chiang Mai.
