The hotel sits by a small lake, with a café next door, and the main road is about a five-minute walk away. I paid 500 baht a night, with parking for a motorcycle or car right outside the room. The bungalows are new or nearly new and very clean. Bedding was in great condition, though a little firm for my taste. The bathroom has hot water and new fixtures, and there’s also a desk, refrigerator, and small terrace out front. Coffee or tea is available in the restaurant. A good place to spend a few restful days.

The beds are basic but fine for a night. It’s a small resort on the Doi Tung side, on a hill above the reservoir. The morning views are incredibly refreshing, though the quiet atmosphere can feel a little scary. The road up is quite steep, so if your knees aren’t strong, I’d drive up and park by the room.
