The furniture is dated, but sturdy, and the decor uses local wood. The Wi-Fi feels like a system from the 1990s. My main complaint was having no way to make hot tea or coffee, so I had to walk to the 7-Eleven for instant coffee. There’s a loud bar nearby with karaoke, though it quiets down around 11pm. The location is okay, and the service was friendly.

Wi-Fi wasn’t working while I was there, which was inconvenient. Still, I enjoyed my stay at Maekhong Delta Boutique Hotel. The room was comfortable, and having a personal fridge was handy. Restaurants and a 7-Eleven are close by.

The room was very nice for $20 US dollars, but what I was offered looked nothing like the photos. The staff didn’t give me a better option until I made a fuss.

There was barely enough light, the Wi-Fi was poor, and we waited about an hour for the water to come back. The room itself was big enough, but most of its facilities weren’t in good condition.

We spent three nights here. The price was reasonable and the room was just okay, though being near the main road made it a bit noisy. There’s a steak shop right by the hotel, and the food was tasty.
