The room's a little old and musty, but it's spacious and good value for 500 bhat for a double. It comes with a decent shower, sofa, fridge, and swimming pool, and the Wifi is good. Breakfast is included, with lovely fresh-baked croissants and cinnamon rolls from a good dutch baker. Getting into town or to the border takes about 10 minutes by ride.

The breakfast is the standout, thanks to the Dutch owner's cakes, butter croissants, and fresh bread rolls. Such a lovely surprise, and he was friendly too, sharing stories and letting us enjoy the peaceful atmosphere well after breakfast had officially finished. It's a small, unassuming resort a couple of hundred metres from the main road to the Burmese border. The covered swimming pool is a real plus, and breakfast is included. Double thumbs up, I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

The welcome was very friendly, and the Dutch owner makes good pastries. It's very quiet, about 2/3 km from the city center and entertainment, though a little isolated. The rooms are simple but relatively clean, and there's a swimming pool.
