I moved out straight away and spent a few more days at Duangkamol Hotel around the corner, where the room was large and quiet. Here, the rooms were tiny, outside light couldn’t be switched off, and noise carried through the thin walls from traffic and neighbors. It was noisy all night, with a place-for-drunks feel. Bring earplugs. Who recommended this place? 😒🤫🥴😫 The owner’s replies to comments are really disrespectful. Listen to him. (Surely a man.)

I was here for a month during my internship in Mae Sot, and would happily stay again. It’s right in the city center, with restaurants and convenience stores close by, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Flooding caused some pipe trouble, but when I reported it, the owner dealt with it quickly and very professionally. He was responsive whenever anything came up and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and spoke English well. The place was clean, comfortable, and easy on the budget, right in the center of Mae Sot. I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

The owner is kind and easygoing, and the location is convenient. The renovated rooms are reasonably priced, with cool air conditioning and strong water pressure. Getting to the toilet is awkward, though.

For two people, 450 baht isn’t expensive at all. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well. We didn’t mind that the bathroom had no ceiling.
