We’ll definitely come back. The setting is beautiful, quiet, and right in the middle of nature, and everything was very clean. The friendly staff provided what we needed, including two fans, Bluetooth speakers, a torch, and towels. The food was delicious too. The roads are well maintained and manageable in either a big or small car, and there’s plenty of parking.

We stayed at Ruby House 🏠 with our dog 🐶 and had a really refreshing time by the water. The house is shaded and cool, with a swing by the water and its own fireplace. You can hear the flowing water and breathe the clean air. In the morning it was 10-11 degrees Celsius, cold enough to see your breath. The scenery feels different from staying on a mountaintop, so it’s worth trying for a change. Ruby House was our first choice here, and we loved its warm decor. It had tea and coffee facilities, pillows, a bed, blankets, a loft bed, games, and a Bluetooth speaker, all more than worth the price. The bathroom worked well and had hot water. We also appreciated that the place welcomes pets, which is a great option for people with dogs or cats. Dinner is included as a welcome meal. You order at check-in and set the serving time, with 6:00 PM the latest. We had a BBQ set, extra pork, fries, fried chicken wings, papaya salad with crab and fermented fish sauce, and pork sausage to help with motion sickness. Everything tasted good and was reasonably priced for a mountain meal. Breakfast is free, with rice porridge, pan-fried eggs, orange juice, and fruit. The eggs had too much oil, though, and would be more comforting with a different cooking method. To get there, turn off at the intersection near the airplane hotel. The road is easy and not narrow, with some uphill and downhill sections. An eco car can make it up safely. We recommend arriving before dusk because of the steep slopes and ravines along the route. A female staff member warmly greeted us when she saw our car, even though we were a bit disoriented after the mountain road. She showed us the room, arranged dinner and breakfast, and made us feel at ease. The owner comes to see guests each evening and waits at the cat house at checkout.
