Rai Phusaitran ไร่ภูสายธาร

We stayed in the dome house and absolutely loved it. It was so peaceful, with only the river and birds to hear. Having a bath while looking out at the hills was a treat, and there was even bubble bath in the room. Breakfast was hearty and tasty, and our hosts made us feel very welcome.

Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the road, but I loved the place. Nice atmosphere, good breakfast, and a great owner. Very quiet too.

The food was incredible, and the servings are huge, so keep that in mind when ordering. We had stir fried vegetables, basil pork, fried rice, and a really good breakfast. The two ladies who run the place were wonderful and so hospitable, though they don’t speak English, so have Google Translate ready. Our tub on the balcony was hard to use because the hot water pressure was so low it might have taken four hours to fill. They didn’t seem to know how to fix it, but it wasn’t a big deal, and they made up for it in other ways. The quiet, cute place is tucked away with an awesome mountain view. We stayed in the igloo or dome style room and liked it. I’d definitely stay again if I’m going to or coming from Pai.

The dome feels more like a tent temperature-wise, so bring warm clothes for the evening or ask for extra blankets. It’s a private, cozy place, and the hosts were so sweet and helpful. The servings were generous too. We loved breakfast, and lunch kept us going for the whole day.
