The kayak trip to the market and temple was a highlight, and Chris and Areeya were wonderful hosts. They were warm and welcoming, always ready to help, and their local tips led me to so many lovely, authentic Thai places. I spent an amazing week at Hidden Holiday House in Nakhon Pathom, surrounded by a beautiful garden beside the Tha Chin River. My river boat room had traditional, lovely decor and a private deck where I could relax and watch spectacular sunrises. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. If you want a peaceful break, real Thai hospitality, and somewhere away from Bangkok’s crowds, this is a perfect choice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The rooms were neat, clean, and lovely, and the family were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was especially excited by the river view and the floating hangout spot. It was the best experience of my trip, a perfect place to relax and get immersed in local culture. Five out of five.

Chris, who is Canadian, and Areeya, who is Thai, are very welcoming hosts at this lovely little riverside guest house. It’s a great place to relax or as a base for visiting nearby rural and town sights. Bicycles and kayaks are usually available, and the website has lots of helpful information. Book ahead, as Hidden Holiday House is often full.

P'Kaek and Khun Chris, the resort owners, welcomed us like friends at their home. The raft room was in good condition and had enough amenities. It’s a little far from Nakhon Chaisri district, though the closest Seven Eleven is only five minutes away by car. We stayed one night with my wife on March 22nd, 2024. It was 500 Baht a night, including morning coffee, but we left at 6.30 a.m. the next day for Wat Bangphra. If I get the chance to visit Nakhon Chaisri again, I’d definitely stay here.
