River Hotel The Budget

The included breakfast and the large, clean, nice rooms made this great value. The hotel staff provided excellent service.

They gave me a warm welcome and even guessed my name from the booking. They accepted my pink Thai ID card instead of asking for a passport, so no TM-30 was submitted and I didn’t need to submit another one when I got home. They also let me check in two hours early for free, which was a surprise. It’s a good base for exploring the area. My room was a little older, but still spacious and comfortable. The A/C and refrigerator both worked well, and the shower was hot and roomy. Building 3 has a stylish restaurant with a good selection and very reasonable prices. Lotus's supermarket and other shops are just a few hundred meters away, and Central Nakhon Pathom Shopping Mall is straight across the road, with shops, restaurants, and a cinema. I also got a very good low-season rate in January 2025. Very pleased!

There’s plenty of parking, and rates start at about 550 Baht, amazingly low. The rooms are clean, with big comfortable beds, a bathtub, and good WiFi. The restaurant is cheap and serves good food, and the breakfast buffet is a bargain. Highly recommended.

The room was just okay. We stayed overnight after going to a wedding reception. Ask for a room in the new building, it’s much better.
