We liked the room, which was spacious, clean, and had a balcony. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, and I appreciated having the shower separate from the toilet. They also rent bikes for getting around the Mekong and the city. The reception staff, though, were grumpy and unhelpful. We tried to add one night but made a mistake with the dates. Only the hotel manager could have sorted it out, but they refused right to the end, even after Agoda told us. Disappointing. Everything else was fine.

There's plenty of useful local information at reception, and the hotel is near places to eat. In the morning, coffee is available in reception, and there's good parking and bike hire. My room was huge, spotless, and had lots of facilities. The bathroom was nice, and the shower was very good.

At B550/night, this is great value. I don't get why it's rated 2 stars. Without exaggerating, I'd put it at 3 stars, and in some ways 4 or 5. The room was spacious and well appointed, and the hotel was quiet and very clean. Staff were kind and helpful. Happy to give the place a well deserved pat on the back.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 rather than 5 is the noise from the main road next door. Apart from that, it was very clean, good value, and the staff were friendly. We stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay again.

Some staff were helpful and polite, while others seemed indifferent. They rent old bicycles, but they still work. The rooms are very nice for the price, and the location is acceptable, about 1.5 km from the centre.
