Really good value for the money. Don’t book online, since they only take walk-ins or reservations by phone. You pay in cash, or possibly by scan, when you check in. Another reviewer said they scam people, but that wasn’t our experience. We booked through Agoda and, with help from the hotel, got a prompt refund.

It’s in a quiet area, but still close enough to the center. Chompon Rd’s morning market is about a 10-minute walk, and there’s a night market about 10 minutes away too. Washing machines for 20 baht are just around the corner, and there are a few exercise machines in the small park across the street. The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean for a fair price. The staff are friendly, and the room has a safe, fridge, decent AC, and two bottles of drinking water.

Expedia booked me into this place by mistake when I had chosen a different hotel called The Rich. I contacted Sathorn Mansion ahead of time, but they still refused to refund me. Expedia wouldn't refund me either. I'd tell people to avoid staying here.

For 400 baht a night, it's a clean, cheap place close to walking street. The view isn't very good, though.
