We had everything we needed in an excellent room. Great value for the price, and I'd recommend staying here.

We came back around 2:30 and found that the toilet in our room wasn't working, and there was no toilet paper. When we asked the cleaner, who said she'd checked with the owner, she told us the owner's answer was that we could use the small pack of tissues provided because they didn't have toilet paper there. Earlier, we'd arrived at 1:17 hoping the kids could nap, but the cleaner hadn't finished and the woman at reception said she was very thorough. Check-in was at 2, so we accepted the wait and returned later. The cleaning explanation didn't make up for the service or other facilities. Maybe we're comparing it with other hotels, but I don't think we'll come back.

This was the first time I'd written a negative hotel review. We were missing a face towel and toilet paper, and although we weren't satisfied, we'd already checked in and accepted it. If the owner had responded politely to those inconveniences, we'd have been fine. Instead, he quickly brought up a refund because of our review, and we did receive one. I think businesses need to be open to both positive and negative customer feedback, take it into account, and improve.

The room felt modern and was comfortable enough for a night. The hotel sells drinks, including a few kinds of beer, at very friendly prices. It's easy to reach from Route 4, one of the main reasons I chose it, using Google Maps or a similar app. There's nothing within walking distance. A few small things could be better: I couldn't find any toilet paper, which should be there even with an electric bidet seat. The shower head points a little too high and would be better if adjustable. The desk was slightly unsteady and could be fixed by padding one leg.
