Baan Nan Hotel

I spent 21 days here as an older solo traveler while visiting Nan in northern Thailand, and found it very good value for a quiet, clean, comfortable stay. The small three-story Baan Nan B&B Hotel has an elevator, and will pick you up from and return you to the airport, just 5-10 minutes away. My room was kept to a very high standard, with bottled water replenished daily in the mini fridge. The hotel is new, with excellent air conditioning, good water pressure, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in during my time in Thailand. Breakfast was delicious every day, with Thai and Western choices, and care taken over cleanliness and comfort. It's peaceful inside both the hotel and room, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby and common area have nice old American Western memorabilia, and security was good at all hours. The quiet alley is away from traffic but close to town for food, sightseeing, and shopping. Walking is easy, Grab is available, and the hotel lends bicycles. There's a 7.11, a produce market, and a small local laundry at the north end of the alley. My only suggestion is a bedside lamp for those of us who need a bit more light near the bed.

It's a well-kept, spacious three-story hotel on a quiet street, about a five-minute walk from the city markets. The staff are friendly and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms have a small balcony with a table and two chairs, and the buffet breakfast is quite good. I only wish they'd add a machine for fresh coffee or cappuccinos.

We were only there for one night 🌙, but were happy with the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful. Breakfast stood out, with an excellent buffet and plenty to eat. I'd recommend this place.

The staff were really nice and the service was good. The interior design could use some work, though. There isn't wheelchair access or a ramp, and there are quite a few sharp corners, including the bed's back headboard and the bathroom step.
