Pukha Nanfa Hotel

Nan quickly became one of our favorite stops on the trip, and Pukha Nanfa made it even better. It’s a friendly place, and I wish more western tourists would visit. The hotel itself is a lovely little property, decorated in a local style, with beautiful pictures and details in the rooms and seating areas. Our room was lovely, and the location worked well for outings around town and farther afield. We only had one night because of the holiday season, but they made the most of our short stay: after a delicious breakfast, they helped us book a train, drove us to two temples and the museum, suggested a great tom yum noodle shop, then dropped us at another hotel. I’d seen reviews mentioning pickup, so I messaged through the Expedia App shortly before arriving. They arranged it quickly and collected us from Nan station in a clean, comfortable minibus. Stellar service. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful, and the rooms are great value for the price. My room was comfortable, with a plush bed and modern amenities. The hotel has a distinctive feel that reflects the owner’s taste, mixing old teak construction and vintage character with a classy modern Lana style. Breakfast was excellent too. The colorful interior has a pleasing local feel, and breakfast was superb. It’s a decent, good place to stay, and I’d come back on our next holiday in Nan.

The staff are the best, and they can arrange transport whenever you need it. We also had a lot of fun using the bicycles to get around town. The rooms are spacious and decorated to fit both the hotel and the region, and breakfast was great. This authentic little gem is in a perfect spot for day trips around Nan and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend it.
