Asawann Hotel

The staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Around 20:00, we asked for another pillow, and it arrived with a smile about three minutes later. Our room was spotless, with soap and shampoo, TV, AC, and enough plugs for chargers. Breakfast was okay: eggs cooked fresh however you like, buffet-style, with Thai food as well as sausages, toast, and Cornflakes. The coffee was a bit bitter. The hotel connects directly to Asawan TESCO Lotus and the shopping center, so there's no need to go outside. At 900.-+ Baht, the price felt a little high for Thailand, since old Town Nongkhai has cheaper hotels of the same standard. We'll definitely be back.

The room was okay, though noise from the neighbors carries through and it isn't very quiet. There are nearby food places and a market, so it's convenient. They support malaysia touch and go.

One of the best Hotels in Asawann. It's clean, well located, and surrounded by plenty of shops and stores.

We hadn't booked ahead, but check-in was straightforward and quick. The place made a tidy, clean, pleasant first impression, and the room rate included a very good breakfast with a good range of hot and cold food, salads, fruit, fresh juices, coffee, and tea. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the area was quiet and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, a 7ELEVEN just steps from the entrance, and shops including Lotus's and the shopping mall around the hotel. Another hotel staff member nearby recommended it because they were full. I had to carry my own luggage to reception because there was no concierge. The first room, on the 4th floor, smelled unpleasant but was fairly clean; the second room, on the 7th floor, was much better. In both rooms the air-conditioning control showed 30 deg.C, yet after it had been on for a while the room got very cold, and only one fan speed worked.
