Silsopa Hostel

It has the feel of a homestay more than a hostel. The room was clean, and there was plenty of nice artwork to look at. Right by the Mekong River and near the walking street. Highly recommend.

We ended up getting another slice of the banoffee cake as we checked out, it was that good. The café is part of the hotel and has delicious coffee too. The hotel itself is lovely, with paintings everywhere and decor that shows how much creativity and passion the owners put in. They lend bikes for free, which made exploring town easy. It's also close to good food, markets, the riverside, and a 7-11 within walking distance lol.

In the centre of Nongkhai, this charming, artsy place feels like a breath of fresh air. It's bright, stylish, and clean, with a range of seating and places to eat or have coffee, both outdoors and air-conditioned, all on its own cute premises. Nicely done!

A short walk from the walking street and night market, though a bit far from the bus station. There's a pleasant café next to the property as well. The hostel combines an art gallery and café, with a relaxed, comfortable look that isn't pretentious. It has a bohemian feel, but stays clean and tidy. The staff could be a little friendlier, but this place is still a gem, and one of my favorite hostels in Thailand tbh.
