The room was nice, the staff friendly, and the fountain running in the morning made a lovely sound. The only issue was that the pillow smelled unclean.

There are little houses set in a garden with a pool, a small lake, and plenty of spots to sit and relax. The free-roaming animals, especially the little rabbits, made it feel special. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. One of the best places I stayed during my year-long trip in Thailand. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was brought to our room, and the rooms themselves were tidy. The pool was just right for cooling off after a warm trip to the nearby caves, which I’d recommend too. We only stayed one night on the way back toward Bangkok for our flight, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well kept the grounds were and how many staff were around to welcome us. The owner also keeps a small collection of birds and animals, which was nice to see. Food was the one letdown: breakfast was mostly rice porridge and nothing special, while other places have offered more choice. Dinner was mostly fine, though an English menu would help foreign guests. That’s a small issue.

The gardens and pond are lovely, with monkeys, parakeets, different chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, a raccoon, a myna bird, exotic cats, and an eagle. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are lovely, and the rooms are clean and quiet. Prices are great too. The mattress was a little firm, but I still slept okay.
