Blue Moose Apartments

There's a great vibe here, with both bar stools and tables. It's an American style sports bar, with air conditioned indoor seating and open air seating outside. There's a pool table, parking on site, and clean restrooms. The staff are fun and attentive. The menu has American style options as well as Thai food. I especially liked the fresh cut fries and the Reuben, and enjoyed everything else too. They also have a golf society that plays early on Wednesdays, followed by a free buffet lunch. Apartments are available upstairs.

The Blue Moose has a cozy, homey feel, with great food and generous portions at a reasonable price. It's a sports bar tucked out of the way off Soi Khao Noi sub soi 9.

The burger was lovely, the best I've had in a long time. Check the menu carefully, though, as the chips were crisps. They show sports on big TVs, but the other regulars' colourful language was an unwanted distraction. I wouldn't take young children there.

The restaurant has plenty to choose from, with food aimed at foreign travelers and some great Thai dishes too. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service was unparalleled. I stayed in a spacious, well appointed room that was designed with longer stays in mind, and found it very comfortable. It's great value for money in Pattaya. The location is away from the usual crowded tourist spots but still convenient for visiting them. A great place for a relaxing holiday.
