The checkout issue is what left me most upset. The night before leaving, I asked someone I took to be a member of management whether I could check out at 3 pm, and he said that was fine. At checkout, I was told it would cost an extra 50 baht per hour. I explained what I had been told, but staff said the person was a staff member's husband and had no authority. The 100 baht itself wasn't much, but the lack of concern for customer satisfaction was unlike anything I've encountered in hospitality. They seemed willing to go out of their way to save that amount, so this gets one star. The place is in a horrible location, and it was hard to communicate as an English speaker. No one ever asked whether I needed water replaced or the room cleaned. The amenities were very basic, though I could understand that given how cheap the place was.

The owner is lovely and kind, and I was really impressed with the place. My room was quiet and airy, with cool air conditioning, a separate bathroom and shower, a water heater, and a lamp for reading. It was spacious and comfortable, too. The WiFi was free and strong. Getting around was convenient: it's not far from the alley, with a daily food market nearby and two 7-11 branches close by. They offer short-term contracts for stays of a few months. There's a refrigerator, TV stand, and TV, and they let you swap in an extra table and chairs if you ask. Coin-operated laundry and a water dispenser are available. Highly recommended.

The owner, manager, housekeepers, and other staff are all great. There are pets here too, which is a nice bonus if you love dogs! 🐶🥰 If you're thinking about staying, decide soon.

I paid 700 baht for a daily stay, with no breakfast. The dog smell was very strong when I checked in. The mattress felt hard, and the wooden bed frame creaked and made noise whenever I moved. The air conditioner ran noisily through the night. There was only soap, no hairdryer, and the bathroom water heater was mounted very high.
