The rooms felt cramped, and although they had balconies, the terrace structure of the pool-side villa completely blocked our first floor view. For a clear view, book a room on the 2nd floor. We didn't have breakfast, but the restaurant area seemed rather small. It was nicely decorated and suited the hotel's boutique feel. There's no lift. We spent a couple of days at this small beachside resort at the start of our Krabi holiday, and liked how tranquil it was. It's right on Ao Nam Mao beach, with clear views of the Railay cliffs and Chicken islands in the distance. The pool overlooking the sea is the standout, and the outdoor area has seating, sunbeds, and nice decor. The staff were friendly. Ao Nam Mao pier is about a 10 minute walk away. A 20 minute boat ride takes you to Railay east beach, where you can walk to both Phra Nang and West beach. There are lots of restaurants along the beach to the left of the property.

We booked through Booking.com and paid a hefty amount, which I didn't think was worth it. For basic needs, they had no dental kit or hair dryer, and when we asked, the answer was no have. There's no storage space for your things, so we had to rearrange our bags every day. The location is isolated, with no good or decent restaurants nearby, and it's far from Ao Nang beach, so you need a cab to get there. We were in the pool and asked for towels, but were told we had to get them from reception. The staff weren't friendly at all, which made this the worst place to stay in Krabi for me. People in Thailand are known for being warm and welcoming, but the staff here didn't feel like that. I really want to give a negative rating for the staff's behaviour, service, customer handling, and location. I'd recommend staying near Ao Nang beach, not Ao Nang Bay.

The owner was very rude, and the place felt more like a 1 star guest house than a resort. Booking online can show high tariff charges, so I strongly recommend not booking this place that way. There are no facilities, and they may check your room randomly while you're away. Good hotels and resorts are available around Ao Nang beach. This place is very far away, about 5km from Ao Nang beach. Worst experience.

It's close to the pier for boats to railay beach, and you can rent a bike for 250 baht a day. The front of house staff were helpful, and the room was big, clean, and nice. WiFi was terrible, though, and I used up all my data in a day. Rooms near the front of the property can also be quite loud.

Lovely hotel by the sea, and the pool was clean. But we had to pay an extra 7 percent for using a credit card, which is a NoGo!
