Circle Inn Ao Nam Mao

Finding food nearby was a challenge, and getting to good places to eat meant traveling a bit. If you want lots of restaurants and cafes close by, I’d choose Ao Nang next time. This could still work for a short visit if you’re fine with somewhere quiet, but my stay felt average. The property itself was decent, though the layout felt odd, with the TV and bed not lined up properly. The bathroom had no handwash, and its tiles were very slippery, especially potentially unsafe after a shower. Small things, but they affected the stay.

For over five days here, I had a pleasant stay. The prices were budget friendly, the staff were good, and they cleaned my room every day. It’s in a quiet village away from busy Ao Nang, with a 7-Eleven right across from the hotel. The Ao nam mao pier is also nearby, with boats for Railay beach and other island tours. I’d suggest renting a scooter or car to make getting around easier.

We liked being away from Ao Nang’s bustle, with a more local, relaxed feel and little hidden gems to find by walking around. There’s a 7-11 across the street, and the pier is within walking distance, so Railay beach is just a boat ride away. If you plan to spend all your time at Ao Nang beach, though, this spot may be inconvenient. The staff were consistently friendly and happy to answer questions, the rooms were clean, and the lobby was relaxing. I’d requested honeymoon arrangements and was blown away by the surprise. The price was very affordable too. I’d recommend the place and hope you enjoy your stay.

We liked our stay in this very peaceful area, about 12 to 15 minutes from the main aao nang pier area. The receptionists were helpful and took the initiative to make guests feel comfortable and respected. They even helped us book a boat at the last minute during our transfer.
