The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, especially the irrepressible pooh. It’s a ten-minute walk into town for local restaurants, and Pooh can arrange transport to and from the island. Sandy, almost deserted beaches are about a ten-minute walk away, with lively sand and shallow water that’s good for children and nervous swimmers. We stayed in one of the small, traditional-style wooden one-bedroom houses. Each has a large verandah, and the inside has a contemporary feel. Breakfast is made to order, and my favorite was the pineapple pancake, a fluffy one about 2 cm thick with maple syrup. The garden surroundings are lush and the whole place feels laid-back and tranquil. A lovely small hotel.

The bungalows are nice and fairly modern, and ours felt spacious with a practical layout. There was plenty of storage for clothes and a backpack, plus hangers. The room had AC, and the bathroom had an electric shower. It’s a pretty quiet area, just a short walk from the village and pier. The lovely woman working there made breakfast fresh.

A cozy bungalow with fast internet, a smart TV, and mosquito nets everywhere. The area is fairly quiet, though you can hear the nearby school and the muezzin. That didn’t stop me from sleeping well. Restaurants, laundry, and scooter rentals are easy to find in the nearby village.

The houses were beautiful and very clean, and we enjoyed the good food, coffee, and breakfast. Staff were friendly, helpful, and really nice. There’s a beautiful beach nearby, though sadly it has sand fleas. Everything else was perfect.

The family-run place offers wonderful service and food. We ate in the covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, and the meals didn’t disappoint. The fresh bean-to-cup coffee and freshly squeezed juice were excellent too. The owner can rent you a scooter to explore or lend you a kayak, and the beach is just a minute’s walk away. Cocoa home feels tucked into the trees and wildlife, relaxed and cheerful. The new bungalows are comfortable, with good beds for a restful sleep. As in many places, bring earplugs if birds wake you. This place really is a gem, and we’re loving our stay.
