The tropical garden was lovely, and the pools and hot springs we tried were clean. The room itself was large and clean, with polished tiles, a roomy bathroom with a tub and separate shower, and a decent-sized mini fridge. But there were plenty of problems. The bathroom basin tap handle was broken, though it still worked, and the bidet spray looked overdue for replacement. Both of the two room safes were locked, and reception couldn’t unlock one when we asked. The air conditioner was noisy, and the pools badly need work on the rough edges and missing grout between tiles. We couldn’t find instructions for the room Wi-Fi, though there were signs saying not to feed the cats and kittens. The free breakfast was awful: the eggs were badly undercooked, the sausages and bacon were cold, and the coffee was instant. I stuck to bread and jam. The two male staff serving us that morning weren’t helpful and didn’t seem to care. Other guests and I were sitting in a hot dining area while one staff member played on his phone with a tall fan pointed at himself. We booked one night in a Superior Room with pool views.

There were no other visitors when we went midweek, which made for a great hot springs spa visit. The equipment is a bit old and could use refurbishment, but the pools and hot springs area are lovely. For the 300 bhatt admission fee, you also get a clean towel and a bottle of water at the entrance. I recommend it.

We had extra time before heading to the airport, so we bought a day pass for the hot springs and pools for 300THB. There were about 10 pools to explore, mostly natural hot springs that were very hot, plus two large, refreshing chlorine pools. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The pools and tiles showed some wear, but I thought that added charm. The service was wonderful. They let us store our bags and even helped us recover one we’d forgotten. Such a great hidden gem, would highly recommend!

The hot springs are so relaxing to dip in, and this is an affordable place if you like nature and hot springs. The hotel is good, with quiet, clean rooms. Since it’s surrounded by nature, you can expect a few harmless insects going about their business. There are lovely cats here too.

The garden is quite nice, though it feels more like nature than something people have cared for. The rooms are pretty spectacular, at least the one I had. Through Agoda it cost 950thb, which is fine, but a walk-in was 1300. The staff were really bad, lazy, and unhelpful. I had plenty of bags and asked for a hand, but they refused. Maintenance could be better too. I don’t know why I expected a breakfast buffet, that was silly. Here’s what they serve for breakfast. I changed my rating from 1 to 3 because the place itself is very good.
