Medio de Pai Hotel

The location is good and the room was decently clean, but the repeated bathroom sewage smell made us leave early on our first stay. We’d booked two nights and left after the first. At checkout I told reception we were leaving because of the smell; the lady didn’t seem surprised and radioed a cleaner, but didn’t try to help. We also had a night booked for our return a few days later, and couldn’t cancel because of the policy. We gave it another chance, thinking it might have been just that room, but the new room had the same sewage smell and rock-hard bed. I told the same reception lady again and got the same response, with no effort to fix it. The beds felt barely better than the floor, and the walls were so thin we heard people partying and someone violently throwing up for an hour. I honestly don’t get all the positive reviews. It’s fine if sewage smell doesn’t bother you.

It’s in a quiet part of Pai but close to everything, with Walking Street just a five-minute walk away. There are cafes, restaurants, massage places, bike rentals, and even a 7/11 nearby. I loved the spacious, very clean pool area, and my room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were amazing, always kind, friendly, and ready to help. Everything was perfect for me. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

For one night in Pai, Medio De Pai was a fantastic choice. My room felt fresh and modern, with a minimalist look and a comfortable bed. It’s tucked into a quiet area for a peaceful night, while Walking Street is only a short walk or quick ride away. A good mix of convenience and calm for a short stay.

The owner is the loveliest person, and the location is perfect for getting to the main part of Pai. It’s inexpensive, clean, and super tidy, and the pool is great. What a perfect hotel, can’t recommend it enough!
