The price is affordable and the location is great. The hotel feels outdated, though, and the rooms aren't very clean even with the cleaning staff doing their best. My bathroom had an odd smell, and I found several small spiders and ants in the room.

The room was clean and roomy, with a mountain view from the second-floor balcony. Pai's famous walking street is right at the doorstep, with gourmet restaurants, street food, quaint shops, local art and trendy bars all nearby. Pai in town is great value and in a prime spot. Stay here on your next visit, and it's easy to see how you could get stuck in the Pai hole :) 😍 👍👍

For the price, it was pretty okay. The room was nice and I had no complaints about it. There was no breakfast, but that wasn't a big deal. The only issue was reception: whenever my wife or I went to see them, or even walked past, they were barely there. Calling the number they gave us didn't always help either.

The bathroom was spacious, the towels were nice, and they provided soap and shampoo. I also had a good view of the plants outside my room. The air conditioning was strong and there were outlets by the bed. It's an older place and there's no breakfast, but I saved enough to buy fruit or eat out when I got hungry. There were a few little flies, but they didn't bite me, so no problem. There was a nice little girl, maybe 9, to give gifts to and play with. 💕

My first stay at pai in town was a last-minute booking, and it turned out better than I expected. It's a calm, clean place, just a two-minute walk from the night market. Highly recommended for anyone looking for that.
