It’s okay, but it can be quite noisy at night because the rooftop is open. The hot shower barely works: you get a few minutes at most, and it doesn’t reach the temperature you want. Hangers are missing here, as in other places too, so there’s nowhere to hang clothes in the hut or a towel in the shower room. Maybe that’s just a Pai thing. The fix would be easy: buy some hangers, add towel clips, and get decent boilers shipped from China. By land, they’d probably arrive in 10 days. It’s not difficult, I think you’re capable.

The rooms were comfy, the Wi-Fi was good, the shower warm, and the price was good too. There was free coffee and bananas in the morning, friendly staff, and a fire each night to enjoy with other people. We loved our time here so much that our one-day booking turned into a week! Excellent place, highly recommend.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a pleasant spot to sit and unwind. The huts are roomy, the bed was clean and comfortable, and they had what I needed. It’s only about a five-minute walk into town, and the owners and staff were lovely. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it. Thanks for a nice stay!

I stayed for four weeks in huts 13-17, set a little apart from the ones by the street. It was really peaceful and quiet there, though I imagine the other huts might be noisier. Mine had its own bathroom, the price was good, and the family was very friendly. I had good neighbours too, and I’m grateful for such a restful time. The bed was so cozy, thanks!

The noise and lack of care made this a really unpleasant stay. During my six days there, the bathroom bin was emptied only once, even though it was full of used toilet paper. At 7:30 in the morning, children would play games on the private porch outside my room while the owner watched and allowed it, with no apparent concern for guests trying to sleep. It felt like a daycare during the day, with kids screaming even when I tried to read. I’ve stayed in plenty of hostels and wasn’t expecting much, but this was something else. Pai has plenty of other places to stay, and I really wouldn’t recommend this one. I’ve never seen a hostel, hotel, or bungalow owner seem to care less about the business.
