The hotel is quite pretty, though not very large. Service needs a lot of improvement. Two of us checked in but were given just one key card, which made getting in and out inconvenient, and nobody helped with our luggage. We had booked a group à la carte meal at the restaurant, but the staff weren’t attentive. They didn’t refill our water or check whether we needed anything else.

The view is fantastic and the atmosphere feels cosy. I slept well on the king-size bed, which is the biggest I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was excellent and tasty too.

In the evening during the holiday period, I could clearly hear live acoustic music from the hotel restaurant in my room until 22:00. It may not work for guests who want a quiet, restful stay.

The room was okay, but the plunge pool was dirty and full of leaves. Breakfast was unacceptable for a two-star place: I love cold fried eggs, apparently, and even the rice wasn't hot!

The shower temperature kept changing, and the hotel looked much older than it did in the pictures.
