The view from the house and the atmosphere were both lovely, and the service was excellent. It’s near the main road in Khao Yai, though there isn’t a 7-Eleven nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The caretaker was really helpful, and I loved the shady setting and the old wooden house’s classic look. We stayed at Baan Rom Ruen, house number 4, on 19/7/68. There’s plenty of parking, and dogs can stay for 100 baht. The house is right by a canal where you can swim or fish, with water flowing all the time. Out front, there’s a roomy, convenient porch with a swing. You can cook there, and food is also available to buy, including BBQ pork. Breakfast isn’t included. The room has a large refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, a fan, and a water heater. The refrigerator holds a lot. Overall, it was good, and I really liked the house’s old-fashioned charm.

We had a great time partying at night with our big group of friends. The riverside was lovely in the morning and again in the evening.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the surroundings have a nice feel. The area could use more development, though, and the place needs better cleaning and repairs. The promotional pictures also don’t quite reflect what it’s actually like. 7/10
